Rohtang Pass is closed on Every Tuesday

Rohtang Pass is kept closed on every Tuesday because of the maintenance of the road and to preserve the environment. No vehicle is allowed beyond Kothi which is 13 kms from Manali on Rohtang pass road.
 The Manali-Rohtang Pass-Leh Road is under B.R.O. The B.R.O. (Boarder Road Organisation) which is a wing of Indian Army who constructs and maintains all the boarder roads in India.

So, any one who is coming to Manali should keep in mind while visiting The Rohtang Pass ( it is closed on every Tuesday).
