The weather in Manali is now clear. There was little rain in Manali yesterday for almost five to ten minutes, 0therwise the monsoon in Manali is almost over. The road to Manali and Leh remained open for a long period of time for a change. The seed potato is coming from Lahaul and Spiti to Manali these days. This seed potato is supposed to be the best seed potato in the world as the temperature in the winter goes below zero, sometime it goes to minus 25 to 30 degree centigrade and that is why this becomes disease free. From Manali it is sent to allover India. There is a co-operative society called The Lahaul Potato Society, which has got operational headquarter at Manali.
