This is apple season in Kullu-Manali. Farmers are busy with their crops, for which they wait for the year. Some of them are sending it to Delhi, with the hope of getting good price. Some are satisfied by selling in the local wholesale markets. In the beginning the price in the local market was around Rs. 70/kg, which has now come down to Rs. 40/kg.
