Manali Status
After the early and heavy snowfall on 13th and 14th of Dec., Manali is getting back to normal. It snowed about 3 ft in Manali Town which disrupted the life in Manali.
About 200 hundred vehicles were stuck in the snow at Marhi, which is 34 km from Manali but the good thing was that all the people were rescued safely.
The electricity was restored after 7-8 days, which took maximum time in the history of Manali.
The road was being opened for light vehicles after two days of snowfall but it took longer for the heavy vehicle like trucks carrying daily needs and the buses, to reach Manali.
Now, at present the electricity has been fully restored in Manali.
The roads are perfectly through.
The weather has cleared, it was a sunny day today at Manali. And as per the weather forecast now, the weather will remain clear for next 8-9 days.
So, if someone is planning to come to Manali then they come without any hesitation as the life and the infrastructure is perfectly normal in Manali.
