Manali Rohtang Road

There was a cloudburst yesterday in Dhundi, which is about 21 kms from Manali and 8 kms from Solang Valley. Because of the cloudburst the roads and some bridges were damaged. The Army bridge near Palchan was almost washed away and one portion of the Manali-Rohtang-Leh Road just opposite to the damaged bridge. Today, the road to Rohtang Pass and Leh remained closed.
Kullu-Manali road also closed early in the morning because of the damaged road but it was opened at about 10.30 am for the traffic.

The bridge connecting Palchan village and Army Transit Camp  was damaged   due to increased water  level.
