View from Gatta Loops

This photo had been taken from the Gatta Loops, which are on the the way to Manali - Leh route, after crossing Sarchu, there are 22 hairpin bends which are also called the Gatta Loope. These are just before the Nakeela Pass (altitude 16500 ft.).

If someone is lucky, he can spot herd of Ibex grazing there. You can see before the Nakeela Pass, the old trail, which was used by the shepherds and the trekkers.

In this photograph, you can see the river coming from Zanskar. The Zanskar trek from Sarchu also goes along this river.
